Teaching notes to accompany the story book "My People" by Billie-Jean Taylorand Auslan performance by Tegan for Queensland state library. We use this story to look at introductions to family within the LOTE 3 teachjing guide. Specifically these teachjing notes look at use of role shift, enactment, and mime throughout the story to convey complex descriptions and character shifting We also look at the Auslan lists/listing items in auslan.
